This is the American Flag in various states of undress. At times the flag is rippling in the wind, proud and cheering. At times it is still, draped downward, as if on bended knee. At times it is hidden behind branches, embarrassed and afraid. At times it is small, quiet, on the wall, just looking. At times it is twisted around itself, conflicted and angst ridden. At times it adorns people, in a celebratory manner. At times it hovers in conversations. Most times it is alone.
